Indeed, it has thought of each and every one of you, from the little ones to the grown-ups, thanks to the attractions at Disneyland Paris.
As you know, the park is divided into two parts. There’s Disneyland Paris Park and Walt Disney Studios. These two parks combined cater to the desires of the whole family by offering attractions suitable for everyone, as long as you don’t plan on trying one of the closed attractions.

First, let’s talk about family attractions. There’s Ratatouille: The Adventure, which is a 4D attraction where you become Ratatouille and are chased by Chef Skinner. Then, there’s Toy Story Playland, where you become part of Sergeant’s little soldier regiment. Hold on tight, you’re about to take off! And to wrap up the family attractions, although there are many more, you can enjoy Pirates of the Caribbean. In this attraction, you navigate through the treacherous world of Pirates of the Caribbean through winding streets.
Next, let’s talk about thrill attractions. We’ll mention a few of them as well. First, there’s Indiana Jones. It’s a mine train that takes you on a thrilling journey of ups and downs. But you can also experience some great thrills on Crush’s Coaster. You board a turtle shell and travel through a whirlwind inspired by the world of Finding Nemo. Lastly, get ready for an adrenaline rush on RC Racer. You’re aboard Buzz Lightyear’s car, and it’s not shy about taking you up high… only to come down fast.
Attractions closed at the Paris park
You may be aware that some attractions at Disneyland Paris are regularly closed. If you’re wondering why these attractions are closed, it’s simply because the park is undergoing some refurbishments while expanding and adding new attractions or areas.
Naturally, in order to carry out construction work while remaining open to the public, Disney has no choice but to periodically close certain Disneyland attractions to ensure a great entertainment experience for visitors.
So, as I mentioned, it’s not always the same attractions that are closed. They take turns to ensure rotation. But in addition to that, it’s not always the same areas of the park that are under construction.
Before you go, it’s important to take the time to check which attractions are closed during your planned trip. This way, you won’t be surprised on the day of your arrival when you realize that certain attractions are closed. In addition to that, you will know exactly which Disneyland Paris attractions are closed.
The new Disneyland Paris attractions
As you now know, the park aims to modernize itself year after year. Indeed, technologies and techniques continue to evolve over time, and Disneyland Paris intends to take full advantage of them to make the attractions as magical as possible. It is therefore a good idea to harness these new technologies for your entertainment.

Naturally, the park cannot have such great popularity while offering very short waiting times. But don’t worry, there are solutions to reduce the waiting time at Disneyland Paris attractions.
Firstly, there are the Disney Premier Access. These new Fastpasses are tickets that you can use to bypass the queues. You can purchase a Disney Premier Access ticket along with your regular ticket, with a limit of one ticket per person. You also cannot use multiple Disney Premier Access tickets simultaneously; you must wait for the previous ticket to be used or wait for 2 hours to use the next one.
Next, there are the baby switch. This tip is handy when you’re at the park with children who are not eligible to ride certain attractions (typically the thrill rides). If you have a young child who cannot ride, at least one adult needs to stay with the child while others enjoy the attraction. You can request a baby switch from a cast member, and when you exit the attraction, you can pass it on to the adults who stayed with your child (limited to 2 adults). This way, they don’t need to queue again; they can present the baby switch at the entrance for Disney Premier Access or at the exit of the attraction to expedite their entry.
And finally, there’s the single rider option. The purpose of this system, called Single Rider Service, is to fill in the gaps left by Disney Premier Access. You can choose to ride the attraction alone and will be placed with other individuals who have not filled up all the seats in a vehicle or other ride unit. The queue for single riders is typically much shorter than the regular queue.
All these solutions are indeed good ways to save time on the queues for attractions at Disneyland Paris.
