Fantasyland – Once Upon a Time at Disneyland Paris.

During a day at Disneyland Paris, I ventured into the themed area of Fantasyland. This little magical medieval kingdom is worth exploring, especially if you want to see fairy tales come to life. In this section, I will share my experiences during my visit to this land within the theme park. This will give you a little preview of what to expect on-site.

A brief overview of the scenery in Fantasyland.

There’s nothing more entertaining than finding yourself in a well-decorated place. Personally, I consider the decoration of a park to be crucial. After enjoying myself in Frontierland and Mickey’s Toontown, I arrived in the Fantasyland area. As soon as I saw this little monarchy in the heart of Disneyland, I knew I was going to have a great time. I can tell you that the Imagineers of this land have truly stood out. Instead of drawing inspiration from classic French castles, they relied on the famous films that have made Walt Disney famous: Sleeping Beauty, Pinocchio, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs… So, breathtaking architecture is guaranteed.

Fantasyland is a sight to behold for visitors. The place is not only reserved for children. Even adults can enjoy an unforgettable moment in this themed area.

The attractions and other activities in Fantasyland.

If I was a bit anxious about taking my children to this land, all my fears disappeared when I saw the numerous attractions present on the premises. Indeed, there is no shortage of activities in Fantasyland.

The attractions

A wide selection of attractions is available in this area. To begin with, I passed under the Sleeping Beauty Castle and then spun around in a teacup with the “Mad Tea Party.” This Disney classic didn’t appeal to me too much, but my companions loved it. After that, I tried “Alice’s Curious Labyrinth.” An enriching walk that ended with the celebration of my unbirthday at the Mad Tea Party.

The fairy tales.

In addition to the attractions, the area also offers several walks that allow you to immerse yourself in tales like Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Peter Pan, or even Lady and the Tramp.

The encounters.

In Fantasyland, it is also possible to meet iconic Disney movie characters. At Princess Pavilion, I loved the photo opportunities with the princesses of the kingdom.

The roller coasters.

Finally, among the activities in Fantasyland, you have the roller coasters. The advantage of this area of the park is that it offers two roller coasters: the Matterhorn Bobsled for thrill-seekers and the Casey Jr. Circus Train for children. I must admit that even though it is intended for the very young, I particularly enjoyed this attraction.

The restaurants and shops of Fantasyland.

What slightly disappointed me in Fantasyland is the choice of restaurants. Indeed, the structure only has a limited number of restaurants for visitors. Nevertheless, despite this small inconvenience, the quality of the meals served in these restaurants is satisfactory.

L’Auberge de Cendrillon

This establishment offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy both sweet and savory dishes at the table. I must admit that at first, I wasn’t too excited about the idea. However, the flavor offered did not disappoint me at all. I can even say that I enjoyed the lunch break at this restaurant.

The Pizzeria Bella Note.

If you want to savor a good slice of pizza, you can go to the Bella Note in Fantasyland. Unlike the first restaurant I mentioned, this one offers a completely different menu. I find the price-quality ratio in this restaurant reasonable.

The Fantasia Gelati

For dessert, I recommend this restaurant. In addition to being delicious, the ice creams offered in this place allow you to cool off during the summer seasons while enjoying Fantasyland.

There is no shortage of shops in Fantasyland. I found everything I needed to take home good memories from my visit. Among the shops available on-site, you can find La Ménagerie du Royaume, which sells toys and clothing, La Petite Maison des Jouets, or even Sir Mickey’s Boutique. It is a shop that sells toys and various items.
